Archways Sober Living is located in beautiful Traverse City, Michigan, and operates three residences that can accommodate up to 44 men. Our program is built on accountability and structure, providing a supportive environment designed to help residents continue their path toward long-term sobriety.
We assist residents with job placement in the Traverse City area, guide them in obtaining a sponsor, and help them develop the life skills needed to live successfully on life’s terms. Recognizing that self-worth is a vital component of recovery, we prioritize helping clients secure meaningful employment in a safe and supportive environment. All residents are required to obtain employment within the first two weeks of entering the program.
Our goal is to set each resident up for lasting success. We require participation in four recovery meetings per week, including a mandatory in-house meeting on Sundays. During this meeting, residents share challenges and celebrate successes, fostering connection and a strong sense of community. We emphasize a family-like atmosphere where everyone feels supported and included.
To maintain a safe and sober living environment, residents are subject to random drug testing and breathalyzer screenings. The monthly program cost is $600, which covers 30 days of sober living. Residents are responsible for their own food and groceries.
Archways Sober Living is proud to announce our intention to expand services with the opening of a women’s sober living home in 2026. This expansion reflects our continued commitment to supporting recovery through safe, structured, and supportive housing environments. By extending our program to women, we aim to provide the same level of accountability, community connection, and recovery-focused support that has helped so many individuals build a foundation for long-term sobriety.
